Why did you make the switch to St. John School?
After a year at a local public school we were wanting and expecting more than was offered to our child. After exploring options and visiting St. John school we decided to "try it for a year" and within a month at the school it was clear this is where our children belonged.

Was there anything specific about St. John that influenced your decision to enroll?
We loved the community feel, small class sizes, structure of classes and the opportunity to have other specials and CYO sports. We really loved how learning wasn't always in a desk and the children were allowed to learn in different ways around the room and outside of the classroom.

What grade was your child in when you made the switch? Did their grade influence your decision at all?
Our son was going into 2nd grade and our daughter into Pre-K. We loved that they could both be in the same school for many years to come.

Has St. John School lived up to your expectations? Was there anything that pleasantly surprised you? Not being a Catholic Family we were unsure of how we would be welcomed. Immediately, we were embraced by the teachers, students, staff and other parents. The teachers and staff really get to know your children and cater their education to their needs.

How has St. John helped your child thrive?
St. John has given them confidence, a diverse set of friends and a learning environment that is unmatched compared to other local options. During the pandemic the consistency and willingness of everyone to pitch in for the betterment of the students and school was unparalleled.

What advice would you give families who are considering St. John School?
Regardless of your background or preconceived notions take the time to come see if for yourself and talk with other families that have made the switch.
