Library Book Donation

Donating a book to the school library is a great way to celebrate a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, baptism, first communion, confirmation, graduation), or to recognize a person or group of people (family, friends, favorite teacher, scout troop, or even a pet). It is also a wonderful way honor the memory of a loved one who has died. Every book that you donate will be treasured by St. John students for year to come. There are three easy ways that you can donate to our school library:

  1. Donate books or cash directly to the school using this donation form: Library Book Donation Form
  2. Go to www.btsb.com/sosl/stjohncatholicschool3 to view our wish list and make a donation of either books or cash through the SOS Library program. 100% of all money donated through this site goes toward the purchase of books for the school. You can also have a free bookplate added inside the front of the book. Most of the school’s picture books and many of our chapter books have come from this company because they have high quality books, with extremely durable library-binding.
  3. Click here to order from our Amazon wish list: Amazon Wish List.
Paperback is fine for chapter books. Hard-back or library binding is preferred for picture books. You can have books shipped directly to the school, addressed to Library.

We will put bookplates in the front of each donated book to recognize the donor and/or the person being honored by the donation. Student donors get to be the first to check out books that they donate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time by calling (785) 843-9511, or by emailing Jeff Harkin, at principal@sjeagles.com. Thank you for supporting our school library!
