What brought you to Lawrence?
We are from Paraguay and came to the United States on a Fulbright scholarship to do my (Patricia's) master's in Education TESOL at the University of Kansas. At the same time my husband wanted to work in his field of Martial Arts as an instructor.

Was there anything specific about St. John that influenced your decision to enroll?
We choose St. John because it made us feel at home! The kindness and open heart of the staff, parents, and children was just lovely.

Has St. John School lived up to your expectations?Yes, they helped us though out the school year navigate the amazing and challenging experience of living in the U.S. St. John also helped us live and practice our faith through Mass and prayers that gave us the opportunity to
share with our children every week. It’s been such an inspiration for us about how to live our lives as a Catholic family.

What does your child like about St. John?
What Adriana likes about St. John are her friends, lunch and making stuff with all kind of materials.
