Cantate
Cantate is a four-part vocal ensemble that enhances and supports our parish’s sung prayer at the Sunday Mass. Music is drawn largely from our hymnal (Gather, 3rd edition) and traditional choral arrangements, and is accompanied by the organ. We are always open to additional singers – either for year-round involvement, or for special occasions, holidays and Holy Days. Regular rehearsal times are Wednesday evenings in the choir loft. Celebration Singers
Celebration Singers is a vocal and instrumental ensemble that enhances and supports our parish’s sung prayer at the Sunday Mass. Music is primarily from our hymnal (Gather, 3rd edition), but will also draw from contemporary worship songs and choral arrangements. Rehearsal times are on Thursday evenings by the piano. Guadalupe Choir
Guadalupe Choir is a vocal and instrumental ensemble that enhances and supports our parish’s sung prayer in Spanish at the Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are Friday evenings in Topeka. Jubilate
Jubilate is a vocal and instrumental ensemble that enhances and supports our parish’s sung prayer at the Sunday Mass. Music is primarily contemporary worship songs, but will also draw from our hymnal (Gather, 3rd edition) and traditional choral arrangements. Cantors
Cantors lead and support the congregation in sung prayer at Saturday evening, Sunday morning, Holiday and Holy Day liturgies. They also may serve the parish family by leading sung prayer at weddings, funerals, and prayer services. As psalmists, they proclaim the psalm after the first reading. Instrumentalists
If you play piano or organ and are interested in assisting as an occasional sub or playing on a regular basis, we can provide you with opportunities.
