At St. John, volleyball will be offered in the fall for girls, cross country will be offered in the fall for boys and girls, basketball will be offered during the winter for both boys and girls, and Track & Soccer will be offered in the spring for boys and girls. This is a parishwide activity, so any parish children in 3rd through 8th grade may participate.

Each participant needs to be registered with the CYO of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties Organization. In order to do this, each parent will need to go to their website:

www.cyojwa.org

Once on this site, proceed to the registration page and register your child for the sport that they wish to participate in this fall. All payments will be made on this website. There is a $40 registration fee, as well as a fee for each sport. The fees for this year are:

Volleyball

3rd & 4th Grade:$37 per participant
5th — 8th Grade: $53 per participant

Cross Country

3rd & 4th Grade: $20 per participant
5th — 8th Grade: $42 per participant

Track

3rd & 4th Grade: $20 per participant
5th — 8th Grade: $42 per participant

Basketball

Soccer

Each participant must have a completed Pre‐participation Physical Evaluation Form from a doctor on file with the CYO office in order to participate. Parents are responsible for scheduling their child for a physical with their family doctor or other medical establishment that provides sports physicals for kids. This is new this year, and is a requirement for participation.

Coaches Needed!

If you are interested in being either a head coach or assistant coach for one of St. John’s volleyball teams, please contact Chris English by email at cenglish@tckansas.com or phone at (785) 766‐7793 as soon as possible. Experience is not necessary; you just need to bring a positive attitude and desire to help our parish children become better people.
